Sports and Cultural Forum

The forum strives to encourage and develop in students the cultural and sports talent and team spirit. Students are sponsored to sports and cultural competitions organized by social, academic and other institutes.

Alumni Association

Students graduating each year will become members of the Alumni Association of Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies. The Association endeavors to constantly follow up the student career planning and arrange interaction and sharing of experiences for development of the curriculum, placement activities and for networking.

Scholarships

Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Class students are given social welfare scholarships as per government rules and regulations. Some other SC & ST candidates are considered for fee concession based on their economic background and merit.

Merit Scholarship

Meritorious students are motivated by awarding merit scholarships one each in the first year and second year. The parent body, the trust, instituted a merit scholarship of Rs. 500 per month for the student who secures highest aggregate marks semester-wise.

Study Loans from Commercial Banks

Some students who join the program may find difficult to meet the tuition fee and other expenses through parental support. Such students, if they desire, are arranged Study Loans through public sector banks. The students shall have to fulfill the conditions as stipulated by the bank to get the loan and the institute acts as facilitator. However, it does not hold any responsibility whatsoever.

Hostel Facility

Limited hostel accommodation is available for outstation male & female students in privately managed hostels in close proximity of the institute. Boy students can secure rental accommodation on sharing basis and boarding facilities are available close to the institute. SC & ST students can avail of the limited accommodation in social welfare hostels, provided they fulfill the norms of social welfare department.
